BALLAST MANAGEMENT IN THE GREAT LAKES
Ballast water from commercial ships is the leading vector for aquatic invasive species (AIS) into and within the Great Lakes of North America. This guidance booklet provides a resource for regulators, resource managers, ship owners, monitoring tool developers, and other stakeholders to support the protection of the Great Lakes through effective and informed indicative monitoring of ballast water.
As the protection and preservation of the environment continue to take the forefront in societal issues, it was an honor to work on such a resourceful project. Taking inspiration from a promotional video that the Qubic team created previously, I was able to design the look and feel, cover page and internal spreads of the booklet.
